Helping people with Disabilities

Whether it is helping persons living with disabilities,  or abandoned children, or helping to school the youth and the disabled, you can trust the Congo Renaissance Team to ensure all the funding is used primarily for the people we serve.

Helping abandoned children

The number of abandoned children is continuing to rise as a result of poverty and the ongoing war in the East of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The statistics are very alarming and we can not turn our back on these children. We are working with Galdi in Lubumbashi, Sauvons les Enfants abandone in Matadi, Kongo Central, and a small group of abandoned disabled children in the Kangu, Mayombe area. We need your help.

Helping the Youth

The  Congolese youth is the future of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The youth is defined as those between the age of 15 -35. This group makes up 75% of the population. This group holds the key to the future development of the country. Our project is to build a tech school to help the youth and people living with disability to learn skills to help them live a fulfilled life.

Why We Give

We give because there is a need. We give because we do not like to see people who are suffering. And, we give because of the love we have for our fellow human beings. This love is magnified when you see the suffering around you and you open your heart to give to help another human being.

Give a One-Time Gift

You can give a One-Time Gift of any amount to help people with disabilities, take care of abandoned children, and school the youth to learn a tech skill.

About Your Donations, Where & How They are used

Your donation helps people living with disabilities, the youth, and abandoned children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Your contribution also helps to free young women who are being prevented from leaving the maternity ward with their children because they can not afford to pay maternity charges. Sadly, there are children growing up around the maternity wards just because they do not have a family member who can help them pay the bill.

The people who are suffering are our people and they are your friends. As such we hope you can spare whatever you can afford to help the people living with disabilities, the abandoned children, and young mothers in the maternity ward as well as the youth of Congo.

Help Us to provide help to more people.

Your monthly contribution of $10 or more per month will go a long to in providing help for more people with disabilities, feeding more abandoned children on regular basis instead of the once-per-year dinner, and supporting our youth with more programs.
